Goats exhibit selective feeding behavior. Prepare TMR mixtures homogeneously and limit concentrate per meal (typically 0.3–0.7 kg/meal).

  2. On the right, type the daily amount of each feed you use as fed (fresh weight) in kg — the dry matter conversion is automatic. Entering a price per kg is optional and shows the cost.

  4. On the results page, compare total dry matter intake with the Predicted DMI value, then increase or decrease feed amounts according to the ME and protein balance and recalculate.
