1. Data Controller
In accordance with relevant data protection legislation, VetKriter ("Platform"), as the data controller, may process, record, store, classify, update and, where permitted by law, disclose/transfer your personal data for the purposes described below, in compliance with the principles of lawfulness and fairness.
2. Personal Data Processed
The following data may be collected during your visit to our platform and use of our services:
- Identity Data: Name, Surname (when using the contact form).
- Contact Data: Email address, Phone number (when using the contact form).
- Transaction Security Data: IP address, access logs, browser information (as required by law).
- Marketing Data: Anonymous usage habits collected via cookies (with your explicit consent).
2.1 VetKriterPet Mobile App Data
When you use the VetKriterPet mobile app, we may process the account and pet-care data you enter in order to provide the app features: account email and internal user ID, pet profile information such as species, age, weight and body condition score, selected/current food, reminders, medication records, veterinary visit notes, check-ins, routine completion, cost/package records, app language and region preferences, support requests, and security logs.
2.2 VetKriterFarm Mobile App Data
When you use the VetKriterFarm mobile app, we may process the account and farm-operations data you enter in order to provide the app features: account email and internal user ID; farm and herd information; animal identity data such as ear tag number, name, species/breed, sex and date of birth; health, medication and withdrawal-period records; reproduction and birth records; milk and weighing records; feed stock and income/expense records; reminders and the decision queue; a push notification token if you grant notification permission; app language, unit and currency preferences; support requests and security logs. If you choose to use the heat-stress (THI) weather feature, your device location is sent to the weather forecast provider (Open-Meteo) to retrieve weather data; if you enable the daily heat alert, your selected location is stored on our servers to send the alerts. Farm subscriptions are processed as described in the subscriptions section below. No analytics or advertising SDKs are used in the app.
2.3 VetKriterMatch Social App Data
When you use VetKriterMatch, we may process the account, pet profile and social data needed to provide safe pet social and compatibility features: account email and internal user ID, pet Match profile information such as display name, handle, species, breed, age, gender, public visibility, biography and optional city/country or location text, behavior survey answers and calculated compatibility labels, active intent preferences, posts and captions you create, uploaded pet photos/media, reactions, follows, connections, blocks, reports, moderation status, notifications, app language and region preferences, support requests, and security logs.
Report, block, moderation and child-safety related records may be processed to protect users, enforce safety rules, prevent abuse and comply with valid legal obligations. Safety, reporting, blocking and account deletion features are not placed behind a paid subscription.
2.4 Third-Party AI Service
VetKriterPet may offer AI summaries for Premium users. If you choose to enable this feature, selected pet-care data may be sent to OpenAI API, a third-party AI service provider, solely to generate daily or weekly care summaries and suggestions. The data sent is limited to the minimum needed for the summary, such as pet species, weight/body condition score, routine completion, weekly care summary and pending care categories. We do not send your password, payment card information, owner contact details, or account email to OpenAI for this feature. The app asks for your permission before sending this data to the AI service; if you decline, no AI summary request is sent.
2.5 Subscription and Purchase Providers
Auto-renewable subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and may be managed through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. RevenueCat receives only subscription-related technical data such as anonymous/provider app user identifiers, product ID, entitlement status, transaction status, store environment, and timestamps. Pet profile, health, reminder, note, social post, media content, report/block, and AI prompt data are not sent to RevenueCat.
2.5 Affiliate Links and Retailer Redirection
When you choose an affiliate retailer link on VetKriter or VetKriterPet, we may record limited click data such as the selected product, retailer, target market, time, and technical request/log information for attribution, security, and aggregate performance measurement. You are then taken to the retailer's website or app. The retailer may process referral parameters and set its own cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy and cookie policies. VetKriter does not receive your retailer account password, payment-card details, or complete shopping basket.
3. Purposes of Data Processing
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Enabling you to benefit from VetKriter's food evaluation and ration calculation services,
- Managing information security processes (logging as required by law),
- Tracking your requests and complaints,
- Providing information to authorized persons, institutions and organizations.
- Providing VetKriterPet mobile app account, pet-care, reminder, reporting, subscription and AI-summary features.
- Providing VetKriterFarm mobile app account, herd and animal record-keeping, health and withdrawal tracking, calculator, reporting, reminder, notification and subscription features.
- Providing VetKriterMatch social feed, pet compatibility, discovery, posting, media upload, moderation, report/block, notification, account deletion and premium entitlement features.
4. Data Security
VetKriter takes all necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure the security of your personal data (SSL encryption, firewalls, access logs).
5. Your Rights as a Data Subject
As a data subject, you have the following rights under applicable data protection legislation:
- To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
- To request information about the processing of your personal data,
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,
- To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data.
